A 1960s pub built by Hall’s to replace the adjacent building, which survives as a kebab house and café. The interior is vast, open plan, with television screens in the front bar, and pool tables. Refurbished April 2017, under new management and now badged as Ember Inns, part of M&B. Everyone gets a discount on cask beer on Mondays.
