A good friendly local purchased by Holts in 1897. The pub has 3 separate drinking areas served by a narrow bar. One of the few remaining Holts pubs not to be ruined by “open plan” redesigning. The snug is a library room. Darts & dominoes teams. Live acts on Wed & Fri with live acts and karaoke on Saturdays.

Reopened in 2021 after COVID
