Lively bar on the famous Royal Mile, popular with locals and tourists. Olde worlde style, with high ceiling, bookshelves and pictures of old Edinburgh. Large dining area to the rear. The pub is located close to religious reformer John Knox’s house. The friendly bar staff are enthusiastic about the real ales on sale. Food is served all day and there is also an excellent choice of bar snacks available.
