Popular Grade II-listed pub located in the market place. Local CAMRA Pub of the Season winner, it has a large lounge dining area and separate public bar, both with real fires. Good-value bar and restaurant meals served Wednesday - Sunday using locally sourced food. Booking recommended. The three guest beers are typically from local breweries. The pub has an annual beer festival in May, and is a meeting place for football teams and the local Scunthorpe United supporters club.
