In the old part of the village, beside the mill stream, this family run pub has beamed ceilings, both painted and timber panelled walls and an old stone fireplace, that now has a woodburner within. Outside it has both tables at the front of the property, and in a pleasant flowered garden at the rear, which also houses a sheltered smoking area. Thursday is Curry Night and there is a Sunday carvery.

Taken over by local couple Ryan & Gemma in partnership with Chicken Hospitality in December 2018, the pub is firmly at the heart of the community. Ryan has been a head chef & manager for many years at local establishments and alongside Gemma, also a hospitality veteran.

Bank Holiday Mondays open 12pm-9pm.
