Large stone built pub which has had extensive internal renovations refurbishment and the new bright clean interior now has a carvery style servery, dining and seating areas and a bar area. Up to two regularly changing cask beers are on offer, often from local breweries like Thornbridge, Buxton, Ashover, Neepsend, and also four draft keg taps which are always interesting (for example craft keg beers from local breweries like Pentrich, Abbeydale, and Thornbridge).
