Friendly community pub near the centre of the village, it has a single room lounge bar with central servery, currently offering real ale (White Rat) from the Ossett Brewery. This following the closure due to retirement of the local Brown Cow Brewery. A recent local CAMRA award winner, this pub hosts quizzes, (free buffet type snacks at quiz) live entertainment, and events in support of local charities.

6 letting rooms are available for people wishing to stay over.

Note, if busy late on, will stay open until 0200
