Street corner pub that has a reputation for live music provided by local bands, usually at weekends. Recently refurbished to a high standard it is now under the wing of DCLT, Doncaster Culture Leisure and Tourism. Music dominates at weekends, with local bands to the fore. Varied range of six real ales. Also wine and cider. Now with CAMRA members discount. Town Pub of the Season Winter 2015/16

Note the superb tiled frontage, from it's days as a Warwick and Richardson's house.

Closes early on Sunday and may do midweek if no customers are around.
