District Pub of the Year 2011, Pub of the Season Winter 2013/14, this fine hostelry is a landmark on the Gainsborough Road . Up to two ales (midweek) & three real ales (weekends) on handpump, usually from Marstons. 2 Bars with dining in both, with an extensive menu for lunchtime and evening meals. The Landlord Chris, is a keen advocate of real ale, and has previous experience managing the Blacksmiths Arms at Everton. Quiz night Thursday from 9:30.
