Back street pub, but near Shrewsbury centre. Has a public bar at the front and a curtained off snug to one side along with a restaurant area to the rear. The bar area is basically furnished, and the three of the four beers are served from an old fashioned beer engine. Was previously a favourite pub with local real ale drinkers, but unfortunately the atmosphere of the whole place is undermined by a very obtrusive TV (with sound on).
Historic Interest
