Town-centre pub with multi roomed bar on three levels. Recently refurbished, friendly pub - nice, comfortable place, with wooden floors and furniture, sofas, 5 varying cask ales. Competitive beer prices, popular with locals. Live music on some nights. No meals but some interesting bar snacks
