A good old-fashioned pub that often serves at least one ale from a Cumbrian brewery. The hub of the community, home of the cricket team and hosts traditional music session on the last Wednesday of the month. With it's exposed beams, stone floor and wood burning stove, the pub also has an exterior sensitive to the character of the village. Well behaved dogs welcome. Food served in separate restaurant Sunday lunchtimes and Thursday to Saturday evenings
