Large roadside pub, hard to miss!. Genuine pub feel with slate and wooden floors. Popular eating place, with a varied specials board, and a separate restaurant. 200 malt whiskies. Pool table. Dogs welcome in front bar. Sold to a local consortium and run by them.

As well as the 2 letting bedrooms, there are three self-catering apartments, sleeping 4, 6 and 8 people.

One of five pubs down the valley, all selling real ale, and accessible by narrow gauge steam railway.

Accommodation is in a flat for 6 - 8 or a cabin in grounds for 4-6.
