Friendly pub with single bar, separate restaurant area and well as games/function room, with thriving skittles teams. Good basic bar food as well as slightly more pricey choices. Steak night Thursdays (some bargains to be had i.e. two for a fixed price. All food well-presented and worth the wait. Guest beers. Cider festival in summer. Very popular with diners on Sunday lunchtime. Live music every Sunday.
