Recently re-opened, after an extended period of closure and now privately-owned, the pub is located in the centre of a small village, and has a regular clientele.

It has a large welcoming real fire and seating at both the front and rear of the pub. Sports events are regularly shown on several screens. Meals are provided at weekends, including the provision of breakfast on Saturday mornings. Sunday lunches are popular. No Real Ale.
