Close to the city's amphitheatre and Roman gardens, this spacious former BT Exchange building has a fresh airy feel to it enhanced by high ceilings, tall windows and the attractive botanic-themed decor. Bare-bricked with parquet flooring, features include communal bench seating, overhead hanging baskets and shelved potted plants and high backed wicker chairs. A more civilised atmosphere prevails during diurnal hours when breakfasts and lunchtime meals are available. In the evening, as prevalent with the whole St John Street area, it becomes the realm of younger revellers.
