Locals pub, at north end of this ex-mining village. Two rooms served by central bar, with separate area for pool table. No food served, but walkers may phone in for sandwiches. No 11 bus stops right outside.

The landlord has now been at this pub for 32 years and continues to offer a friendly and welcoming pub where locals and visitors can meet and enjoy each others company.
