Popular and comfortable pub opposite Coleridge's cottage. Seating at the front part of the pub with a large fireplace on the right and raised bar area behind. Pool table in a smaller room to the left.

An extensive food menu at reasonable prices.

There are quiz nights on the 1st Monday of the month. Regular karoke nights as well as frequent events to support the local community.

The two guest beers - soon to be increased to three as demand - are mostly local with the renowned Mad Apple local cider.

Modern accommodation block (sympathetic design) behind the pub and outside seating area and car park.
