This attractive countryside pub has a peaceful rural setting opposite fields. The interior has a timber-and-brick theme, with a number of rooms surrounding the central bar, and comfortable seating throughout. Much of the pub is dedicated to dining, but casual drinkers are welcome. To the road side is a pleasant beer terrace, plus there's a grassy garden to the rear. The guest ales is often a national brand, but with surprises thrown in.
