Laid-back, recently renovated pub next door to the city's ancient Guildhall. The interior is decorated in a clean modern style, with lots of comfy leather seating, even in the smokers' den to the rear. The large main room is bedecked with mirrors, and looks out onto the beer yard at the rear. At the front is a small, comfortably furnished room, plus a pool room on the other side. Exit to the rear for the Garrick Theatre.
