Large estate pub, with a central island bar serving the areas surrounding it. The hand pulls are towards the rear; generally just two regular ales with the occasional third when the occasion merits. The pub is part of the Flaming Grill chain, so there's an emphasis on food, but it also attracts a fair drinking community. Large grassy beer garden with plenty of seating. Wednesday is quiz night. Pay & Display parking is refundable on ordering.
