What was once a traditional community pub with separate lounge and vault has been transformed by a recent refurbishment into a single open space.
It still caters for traditional pub games and has five resident darts teams (additional players always welcome). Live music (country, blues and 60’s through to contemporary) Thurs – Sun is a feature, including regular contributions from the Landlord, John Kelly, Tuesday is bingo and quiz night.
The extensive patio area and beer garden is well maintained and enhanced by shrubs and flowers. There is a covered smoking shelter, occasionally heated by wood burning chiminea.
Car park to side and front. Adjacent tram is now open. On the Manchester Airport line.
