An attractive village pub with a play area for children and outdoor seating front and rear. The comfortable interior has different areas for different moods with a bar area for drinkers and a larger split-level dining section.The emphasis on quality food is balanced by a good range of real ales, some unusual for the area. Special food deals are available depending on the day, e.g. fish suppers, pie nights, curry club, as well as lunchtime specials. Community and charity events are well supported, including an annual beer festival to coincide with the village charity duck race in May. Can sometimes be affected by flooding if the River Ely spills over into the road outside so bring your wellies if there has been a lot of rain!
