A large modern pub built and opened in 1961 on the site of the Old Castle to serve the local community. It consisted of 6 rooms, bar, lounge, smoke room, children’s room, assembly room and dining room. However over the years the rooms have been opened out and it now consists of one large drinking area apart from a club room.

Pub meals, meal deals and Sunday dinners available. Monthly live entertainment and discos.
