Historic hillside pub with splendid views across the Heavy Woollen district. The pub is divided into a through snug bar, main bar and restaurant . Entertainment (singers/bands) last Saturday per month; On these Saturdays the restaurant will close earlier. Quiz night Wednesday, cask club Monday. 1 mile uphill from Mirfield railway station. Loyalty card scheme. Handpulls in use are away from the entrance.
