A comfortable and sizeable three-roomed ex-Melbourne house set in its own gardens. It is bright, comfortable and gimmick-free. There are currently six handpulls, four of which are used for the regular beers and two for varying guests. The L-shaped lounge is open-plan and wraps around the bar. A tap/games room to the rear is served by an extension to the bar and contains a pool table. The extension to the side of the lounge is used as a dining area and this can be closed off entirely if required. In the surrounding grounds, to the front and side, is a beer garden and children's play area. A quiz takes place on Wednesdays from 8.00pm. Dogs are permitted only in the tap room once food has stopped being served. From Jan 2024, the pub will be closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
