Large open-plan bar with a separate games area. Live music every Sat. Food available. Reputedly the cellar once had various passageways linking it to other buildings in the town.

Historic Interest

Note: The 1871 census records two Thomas Sillitoes, both age 42, the other is at the Hare. Reported in the Suffolk Free Press** on March 6th 1907 : The Prince of Wales Inn at Sudbury was knocked down (sold) to Mr David Ward of Foxearth for £2,200. In Nov/Dec 1981 edition of Last Orders**** it was reported that the Prince of Wales was a Free House with Adnams on handpump. Previously the pub had been owned by Charringtons (Ind Coope).
