A club since April 1888 which is located close to the historic Guild hall and within the historic medieval grid of the town. Notable beer garden. Opened on Friday the 6th April, 1888 by the Marquess of Bristol accompanied by Lord Francis Hervey MP for Bury St Edmunds and Lord Harris.
