Large (probably the largest in Bury) estate pub with three bars including a traditional saloon. No food Sun or Mon eve.

Historic Interest

The license of the George Inn was transferred by Greene King to their new pub the Greengage, Tollgate Lane, Bury St Edmunds after the George licence was voluntarily surrendered on 5 Dec 1957.
