The White Lion is a traditional inn dating from 1712.The stone-flagged bar has an open fireplace and many quiet corners for a meal or a drink. A separate restaurant leads off the bar for more formal dining. There is a large beer garden to the rear (winner of branch Pub Garden of the year competition 2023) and a petanque terrain in the beer garden across the road. The cider is from Rich's. Parking is either opposite the pub or in the car park. Close to Stourhead house and gardens and convenient for local attractions including a 30 min drive to Stonehenge.
