Rambling old free house of character situated on a cobbled street off the town centre. There is a small snug at the front, comfortably furnished eating areas and a main bar to the rear which features dart board, pool table and sports tv. Beyond this is the suntrap beer garden with its spectacular views over the River Swale and the Norman castle. Meal times vary according to the season, so worth checking beforehand.
