Old stone-built pub predominantly a restaurant but now enthusiastic about real ale. The front bar features attractive wood panelling with Rennie-Mackintosh-styled wrought ironwork, with cosy drinking areas frequented by locals and visitors alike. Owned by the same people as the nearby Queen Catherine.
