This comfortable and welcoming pub is in the centre of the village, among shops and opposite the church. It is a fine example of Sam Smith's traditional approach with restrained decor, no distractions and low priced, well-kept ales. The two good-sized bars and large car park attract locals and passing trade. Lunchtime food is served but not on Saturday.
