This fine canal-side pub is three storeys tall looking from the canal but four tall from the car-park where access is via steps at the side. The property was originally three mid eighteenth century cottages.

Access off the tow path enters either a lounge or a separate bar. The pub organises a cider festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend. There are usually two changing guest beers to supplement the regulars. Pies are a speciality.
