This is a large spacious pub on the main shopping street along Stanley Road. There is a wooden patio/seating area at the front right next to the bus stop for the 281 and 33 buses. The pub has a very large beer garden. Inside there is plenty of seating with tables and two wood burning stoves that get used during the winter months. Regular live music on Friday and quiz night 8pm every Thursday (booking required). This pub is ideal for families, but children required to vacate by 6pm unless dining in the restaurant. The rear dining area with it's own log fire can be hired as a function room. There is a covered/heated outside area leading to the large garden.
