The pub reopened in early May 23 after a short period of refurbishment. Cask beers were reintroduced after an absence of many years, but were discontinued after a short time. The pub is the home of the Manchester City supporters club, and the football pitches on Garden Street are to the rear of the pub, which provides their changing facilities. There is a large range of keg beers and lagers, with Karaoke on Friday night.
