Wetherspoon pub in the former Midland Railway Hotel with a deserved reputation for serving an excellent selection of up to five guest beers in addition to two real ciders on draught. Occasional beer festivals and brewery trips are organised. Information boards describe the history of the spa town. The extensive outdoor patio area is popular in summer and is adjacent to a municipal park. There is a public car park a short walk away.
