Refurbished following a change of tenancy in August 2017, the White Lion has elements of a gastropub combined with features that made it a popular typical local pub. Four cask ales are regularly available, combining local breweries with well-known names from further afield. The pub screens televised sport and in 2022 revamped its dining room into The Den, complete with pool table, table football and (noiseless) classic arcade games
