Old established country pub well worth the walk from the bus route, just outside of the Wycombe conurbation in the attractive Hughenden Valley and not far from the National Trust's Hughenden Manor. It has a garden to the front with kids play area and, inside, the pub is divided into two bar areas. To the left is the public bar and saloon on the right.They have a Quiz night on Tuesdays and at least two real ales on tap. Food is served seven days a week and includes a take away service available lunchtimes and evenings Monday to Saturday. The pub uses Seasons Farm Shop in North Dean less than 1 mile up the road, where the meat for their burgers is reared and sold, and all local suppliers wherever possible. Locally valued and therefore listed as an Asset of Community Value.
