A traditional Victorian 'flat iron' shaped pub, the Talbot is a welcoming and popular community pub, a short walk from the town centre. Has a real fire in winter and has an excellent selection of at least seven changing real ales pulled from casks stored on an original stone stillage plus at least four real ciders. Amber Valley CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year 2018 and Branch Pub of the Year 2019 and 2022.
