Landmark 1930s brewers' Tudor pub in the main shopping street. Within, two interconnecting rooms with exposed brick walls are adorned with old brewery signage. 2 cask ales are usually available but real ales are not a major seller here. The arch-shaped bar has an area in front that doubles as a dance floor at weekends, when a vibrant disco atmosphere prevails.
